1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Royal Bengal Tiger India. By enquiring about, booking, or paying for any safari, stay or service through our website or WhatsApp, you agree to the terms on this page, in addition to our Privacy Policy.

2. Booking & Payments

  • All safari bookings are subject to seat and permit availability on your chosen date and zone.
  • Advance payment is required to confirm a booking and begin your e-permit application.
  • Quoted prices include our service charge, but government entry fees, guide fees and taxes follow the Forest Department's official rate card and can change without notice.
  • Full payment is due before your safari date, as specified at the time of booking.

3. Safari Permits

Every Jeep, Canter and Dhikala Night Stay booking requires an official e-permit issued by the Uttarakhand Forest Department. We submit permit applications on your behalf, typically finalised close to your travel date as per the department's own release schedule. Permits are issued in the exact name and ID details you provide — please double-check these before booking.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Once a safari permit is booked, it cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded. This follows the Uttarakhand Forest Department's own 2026-27 policy, not just our own — advance payments toward a confirmed booking are non-refundable and non-transferable for the same reason. We're unable to make exceptions for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed permits, or for missed safaris due to late arrival. Please confirm your travel dates are certain before paying your advance.

5. Identity Documents Required

Indian nationals must carry an original Aadhaar Card, Voter ID or Driving Licence; foreign nationals must carry their original Passport. The Forest Department checks these against your permit at the gate — photocopies or screenshots are not accepted, and entry can be refused without the original document.

6. Safari Rules & Visitor Conduct

  • Entry inside Jim Corbett National Park is governed entirely by Forest Department rules, which our guides and drivers will explain and enforce.
  • Follow your guide's and driver's instructions at all times, including where you may or may not exit the vehicle.
  • Drones are not permitted anywhere inside the reserve, under any circumstances.
  • DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and telephoto lenses are welcome — please keep noise to a minimum and never attempt to feed or provoke wildlife.

7. Wildlife Sighting Disclaimer

Jim Corbett is a wild, free-roaming reserve — we can put you in the right zone at the right time, but no safari operator can guarantee a tiger or any specific sighting. Wildlife movement is natural and outside anyone's control.

8. Liability & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for injury, loss, delay or disappointment caused by natural conditions, wildlife movement or behaviour, road conditions, or restrictions imposed by the Forest Department or local authorities — including core-zone closures during the monsoon season (July to mid-November).

9. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All text, photos and design on this website belong to Royal Bengal Tiger India unless credited otherwise, and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ramnagar / Nainital, Uttarakhand.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as our services or Forest Department rules change. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies.
